Thought I would start up a new category here on the page called “Photo Recipe” or just PR for short. This will be a category where I upload a picture and share with you what I did when the shot was taken. I will try to include a light diagram whenever its posible 🙂

The first shot up is a cool BMX rider. We had a night out with the local photography club – as usual some of the models droped out on very short notice. We ended up just asking two guys on the street if they where willing to pose a bit for us – luckly they where 🙂

And the setup for the shot.

Lighting Setup

Lighting Setup

I used a Hensel flash with a Hensel Beauty dish for the light to give a high contrast.
The flash was triggered with an Elinchrom Skyport.
Camera used was a Canon EOS 5D Mark II with a Canon EF 70-200L F2.8 IS lens mounted.

I used the following settings: 1/200 – F8 – iso200

Feel free to ask a question if you have any.
